HONEST DESIGN* LEAVES A DISTINCTIVE FINGERPRINT

I believe in highlighting the real power and value of a product without overstatement.

* The sixth principle of Dieter Rams’ design philosophy is that ‘Good design is honest’.

About

Design is a system of truth, not a layer of decoration. When it is honest, a product earns trust before anyone stops to explain why. Lose it once, and no interface wins it back.

Complexity is easy to build and expensive to live with, so I keep it out. Strategy and code stay in the same hands, so the idea survives all the way to production.

Agentic Commerce Framework

An exploration of where agentic commerce is heading, where an AI does the shopping for you. The real product question is trust, would anyone hand that over. My work was the UX and UI of the answer. I designed and built the touch-gesture interface, the front-end interactions and motion, and the API layer that wires it all to the AI doing the work, keeping the whole thing clear, calm, and in the user's control.

Cross-Platform Checkout System

Shipping a fully working iOS and Android MVP for Greece's largest retailer in 15 days, two of us. I built the front-end in XAML, owning end-to-end UX, interactions, and a real design system; my colleague handled the backend. On .NET MAUI with C#, role-based pricing and checkout. Paused after deployment, still a benchmark. Two people, fifteen days, zero shortcuts.

AI-Assisted Web Pipeline

Product and UX lead: flows, personas, and user stories shape a design system that stays in sync through a custom Figma token plugin, wired via MCP and an LLM. The front end ships on Astro, standards-first and lightning-fast, pulling content and commerce from headless backends: WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify. Custom, and never locked in: the data lives on its own, the interface just a shell you can swap without touching what's underneath. In the end no one cares about the stack, only that it sells, fast, from a hundred products to a thousand. This does.

Selected Works, 5

Five client systems, told in full. The impact above is the headline. Below is the work behind it, the constraints, the trade-offs, and the calls that got each one shipped. This is the part worth your time.

Hospitality

Blue Symphony

Blue Symphony is a luxury boutique hotel on the island of Lefkada. Their website was holding them back. I designed and built a custom WordPress theme that changed that.

AI Deliberately

AI is changing how work gets done. The question isn't whether to use it, but where it actually belongs.

The mechanical parts: yes. The thinking, the judgment, the responsibility: those stay human.

My Approach
My Approach

Intentional Systems, Not Just Prompting

In HCI and product design, speed without direction is just noise. I use AI for the mechanical lifting: research synthesis, documentation, and the repetitive parts of the code.

That keeps my attention on what actually matters: how the experience is built, where it stays honest, and how it holds up under real conditions. AI owns the execution. The human retains the why.

Fast to Build, Slow to Commit

In how I work there is no translation layer between design and production. Interface logic and web standards are one conversation, and AI speeds up the build while the judgment stays mine. I keep it honest the same way every time: small experiments under real constraints, tested in the open before they ship.
